The Management Team - an exceptional Duo
Reimund Reiter and Wolfgang Dürr, the associates that currently comprise the managing board were decisively involved in the development of macmon. Both have a broad background in information technology. Their experience, in both managing an IT company as well as in technological matters has contributed to the success of the company.

Reimund Reiter
From the Saar region in southwestern Germany. Born 1950, initially studied mathematics, philosophy and linguistics, and afterwards information science, in Berlin. After completing his academic career he was initially employed as software developer.

At the onset of the 1980s, an atmosphere of IT innovation pervailed. Networking corporate PCs in medium-sized companies was becoming an attractive entrepreneurial proposition.

Thus Reimund Reiter and three other like-minded associates founded mikado in 1983. In the course of the following years the focus shifted more and more towards the security of IT systems. Thus, mikado´s solutions and development efforts more and more addressed this new challenge. Nowadays, Reimund Reiter is CEO of mikado ag and board member of mikado soft gmbh. He is responsible for sales, finances and human resources in both companies.


Wolfgang Dürr
Likewise, Wolfgang Dürr is a founding member of mikado ag. Born in Bremen in 1953, he studied mathematis and physics in Berlin. Initially working in various university research projects, he thereafter was employed as a software developer. In wa sduring this phase that the two met and eventually decided to found mikado ag.

Wolfgang Dürr is currently serving on mikado ag´s board as technical director, responsible for the business areas network infrastructure and consulting. Like Reimund Reiter, he is board member of mikado soft gmbh, responsible for macmon development.
